Valencia want to sign Harry Winks on loan for the second half of the season, with the midfielder falling down the pecking order at Tottenham Hotspur.
Winks are said to be open to the idea of a La Liga loan transfer. The 24-year-old, who has only made seven Premier League appearances, recognizes the need for regular first-team football to secure his place in the England squad for this summer’s Euro.

However, finances could prove to be a hurdle, with Valencia in a tight spot amid the Covid-19 pandemic. It is reported that Tottenham are likely to take over a large chunk of Winks’ salaries.
Jose Mourinho recently revealed that Winks was one of “many players” to come to see him for lack of playing time this season, but dismissed the idea that he could leave Spurs on loan.
“I have my office on the first floor but I also have a small space on the ground floor next to the players’ locker room where I was before and after training to make things easier for them. So it’s easy for them to come around the corner to talk to me, so yeah, Winks came to talk to me.
